WHAT WE OFFER THE NORTH
The Arctic Gateway Group is proud to serve the Northern communities that helped build us.
For nearly a century, the Arctic Gateway’s Port of Churchill and Hudson Bay Railway have served the vibrant communities of the North. With regular freight rail service from The Pas to Churchill and back, stopping at dozens of communities along the way, the Arctic Gateway provides a low-cost supply route for vital commodities including consumer supplies, lumber, vehicles, tools and other essential goods needed by every community.
With four 10 million litre tanks and five smaller tanks ranging from 50,000 to 50,000 litre capacities, the Churchill Marine Tank Farm handles storage of fuel for distribution to northern communities, the Town of Churchill and the Churchill Airport. Shiploads of fuel can be unloaded at the Port of Churchill and transferred directly to the Tank Farm on its way to powering and heating the North.

WHAT WE OFFER PRODUCERS
The Arctic Gateway links producers across the Prairies to the world food marketplace.
Equidistant from the Port of Thunder Bay and the grain-producing heartland of Western Canada, the Arctic Gateway features key logistical advantages for moving grain to the world marketplace. With expertise in both grain and rail operations as well as marketing experience for producers selling their grain to international markets, AGG and its partners offer logistics and port handling services to grain companies across Canada.
The grain terminal of the Port of Churchill features four rail car receiving tracks with an unloading capacity of 900 tonnes per hour. Its cleaning facility can clean wheat and durum at a rate of 600 tonnes per hour and canola at 250 tonnes per hour, providing options for bulk grain at different levels of finish.
The Arctic Gateway is also uniquely positioned to help fulfill the high demand for bulk commodities such as granular urea and phosphate in the Prairies, receiving loads of these commodities through the Port of Churchill and moving them via rail to their end destinations in Manitoba, Saskatchewan and Alberta.
