Business & Pricing Analyst | Arctic Gateway Group
We are seeking a Business & Pricing Analyst who will work under the direction of the Vice President, Corporate Services, and working with senior leaders at all levels within Arctic Gateway Group (AGG), as well as external organizations and individuals, the Business and Pricing Analyst at AGG will play a crucial role in the entire supply chain process, including engagement in the design, planning, execution, control and supervision of supply chain activities from initial assessment to procurement to delivery. This includes all functions within the supply chain: purchasing, operations, logistics, resource management and workflow. Key objectives include building a competitive logistics and pricing infrastructure, leveraging logistics (whether within Canada or internationally) and continually measuring performance with the objective of creating value. Additional duties will include strategic technical advice on the implementation of AGG’s Business Plan and future planning & expansion efforts.
Executive Assistant | Arctic Gateway Group
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high level administrative support to the CEO and Senior Management Team of AGG. The incumbent will be highly organized, proactive and possess excellent communication and time management skills. The Executive Assistant will be responsible for supporting the CEO with all administrative requirements, providing administrative support to the Board of Directors, optimizing research on multiple projects, and assist with the delivery of communications to stakeholders.

+ Electrician/Industrial Electrician
The Pas, MB - Hudson Bay Railway

The Electrician would be responsible for performing inspections, maintain and repair of the electrical assembly on the locomotive fleet. Electronic components, computer systems, fuel injector systems and troubleshooting locomotive failures would be the main focus of this position.

- Basic knowledge of electrical systems or circuits
- Ability to use multimeters

The Locomotive Engineer position is designated as a safety-critical position, responsible for working under the guidelines of the Railway Safety Act of Canada as well as the Canadian Railway Operating Rules.
This position can include being away from home for extended periods of time. The ability to work under pressure, handle demanding deadlines/situations and the ability to work varying schedules would be considered an asset.

+ Machine Operator
The Pas, MB - Hudson Bay Railway
Hudson Bay Railway offers services for hauling assorted freight in Northern Manitoba between The Pas and the Hudson Bay Port of Churchill. We service numerous businesses and Northern communities along the way.
The Machine Operator would be responsible for operating, servicing, and inspecting work equipment machines for which qualification is held.
Once qualified, the Machine Operator would operate on- and off- track heavy equipment to support track repair and maintenance activities such as:
- Remove and replace defective ties, rails, spikes, and anchors
- Correct deviations in track surface, alignment, and gauge
- Distribute track material
- Clear brush, vegetation, snow, and litter from railroad right-of-way
- Establish and maintain drainage
- Comply with track safety standards, operating rules, and safe work practices

+ Railcar Repair Technician

The Railcar Repair Technician is responsible for repairing and inspecting rail cars according to AAR Standards, using numerous tools and machines. Their duties include welding and cutting on the railcar or car components, inspecting inbound cars, and performing air brake tests for outbound trains.

+ Roadmaster

The Roadmaster’s responsibility is to ensure all track inspections are completed and all records are kept up to date as per HBR Policies and Rules Respecting Track Safety. They are to participate in any railway projects on their respective territory and to participate in emergency track repairs and remediation efforts. The Roadmaster has direct oversight of general track labourers and operators assigned to them. They are to provide direction, support, coaching and leadership to the MOW employees assigned to them.
Duties will also include general upkeep and maintenance of equipment. From time to time, the Roadmaster will assist the Track Superintendent and/or General Manager in other miscellaneous tasks or duties as required.

The Pas, MB - Hudson Bay Railway

As the Trainmaster you will deliver efficient movement of traffic by developing, organizing, and executing the daily operating plan in a safe and effective manner.
The Trainmaster would be accountable for:
- Efficiency testing the operating crews
- Doing ride-a-longs
- Safety related activities to support a safe efficient operation
- Investigating safety rules and policy failures and identify causes.
- Ensure compliance to HBR policies and collective agreements.
- Mentoring and coaching new employees as well as seasoned employees.
The Trainmaster reports to the General Manager and at times will be assigned other duties.
